Best straightener for thick heavy curly hair?

i bought my straightener off ebay about a year ago

and it is completely ruined, and has been through alot.

i am looking to buy a new one, but dont know which one?

ive heard about alot of good ones, but my hair is VERY

curly, frizzy, poofy and thick. it is wild and took me 2 hours

everytime with my old one, which was about $100. it went up to 200 degrees, but even after straightening my hair it would alwyas frizz up and curl at the ends. so irritating. so im wondering if there is ne flat iron that will help me out?

i just use a normal iron that my mom uses to press clothes xD it works really well =]

I have EXTREMELY thick afro-like hair.

I use the wet-2-straight straightener

your hair sounds like it has a lot of problems so i reccomend the original chi.

though it may be expensive it reduces frizz and makes your hair sleek and soft.

for the poofyness problem i recomand that you shopuld get layers that way they dont look as big, and ask your stylist to razor through your hair a little more than usual.
