wen i use hair straighteners the dye is 'stripped'frommy hair. how can i avoid this and keep the colour?

uhh. I have no clue, I dye my hair all the time and nothing happens to the dye when i straighten it, wait a day or two to straighten it after you dye it next time and maybe this won't happen. if it continues, try buying a new straightner, i have a chi and a conair straightener. The chi is alot better but its alot of money, the conair is ok so try that if you cant afford it

are you sure its the straighteners doing it?

if so i would suggest its not the dye but a problem with the straighteners.

are you using a spray or serum to avoid heat damage as this can fade hair?

alberto vo5 do a fade defy serum that you use after conditioning and it locks the colour in by coating the hair, this may help to stop fading but still youre colour should not be coming out that drastically.

straightners cant 'strip' hair dye, its more likely that after you straighten your hair it just looks a little lank or dull, this is due to general condition of your hair and not using the best products for you particular hair type x

Use specialist shampoo %26amp; conditioner for coloured hair. The hair dye i use is Loreal Recital Preference it has fade proof technology.Also use a protective serum before using your straighteners.
