How to curl my hair with a CHI straightener?

I have a chi, and it says that you can curl it with the straightener. I've tried to wrap my hair around it, but it just makes like a dent in my hair. Can anyone help??

It's kind of hard to explain but you have to start near a couple of inches away from your root and twist the chi iron around. It's kind of in the wriste. It's takes a little practice but the curls come out beautiful. You just keep twisting it until you get to the end. Take small sections too. I hoped that helped a little. I don't know howesle to explain on here.
