Can you use a GHD straightener on wet hair?

I want to upgrade my straightener but am torn between a GHD and a Remington Wet 2 Straight. I often do my hair in a rush so straightening from wet sounds pretty good..

what is your experience/advice?

straightening your hair while hair is wet will really damage your hair. No matter if it has steam vents or ceramic plates it will damage your hair.

Anything u do with wet hair damages it a lot. so don't pin, straighten, make pony tails or buns, or pull your hair. Let me help u decide...I think wet2straight is much better than the other 2. It can straighten wet hair, but in order to do that, it needs to provide extremely high heat, and that can damage hair or increase the moisture(not in a good way, I mean there will be like water vapor and your hair might be poofy or frizzy). But if u really rush, wet2straight will be more practical, so I say get that one. And if u want to keep your hair healthy, u can use a protecting conditioner. http://www.ukhairdressers.com/store/deta...

Hope I helped!
