Can you use a Chi straightener on damp hair?

I only have one plug outlet in my bathroom so I can only have the hairdryer and straightener plugged in one at a time. I just got a Chi flat iron and was wondering if you can use it on damp hair. Not wet, just like, this morning I sprayed it with a little leave-in conditioner before I straightened it so it was a little bit damp.

No! Don't do it, I had a friend that used to do that and she fried her hair. If you do it you will hear your hair sizzle when the straightener touches it... not good. Chi straighteners are great though! Just let your hair air dry, then straighten it.

first i would suggest getting a heat protection product, put on hair before blow drying or using a flat iron.

use the blow dryer to get your hair dry and then use the chi to smooth everything out. It shouldn't take to long for it to warm up and do the job. A flat iron should be used on dry hair

Good choose. Never straighten hair when its wet...........You'll damage your hair, terribly.
