What would you recommend as the best hair straighteners?

I have very curly course hair and would like to get a really good pair of straighteners, I did have GHDs which were good but broke just over a year after buying them. Any advice would be appreciated.

Contact GHD and tell them that they are broken. They might still repair them for free as they're just out of warranty if not they will charge you about 鎷?0 to repair them.....Beats buying a new pair. You won't find a better brand...I've tried a few different types and I swear by them.

i had ghd's and they have lasted for 6 years so i would contact them if they broke after a year as they'd still be under guarantee. no straightner is better then ghd's.

ahh GHD's ive been using them for years and they are brilliant, in about 10 seconds they warm up, they beep when hot enough to start straightning, and turn them selves off if u accidently leave them on ! honest id go for GHD, no better i think=)

they only go up to 180 Degrees where as some go to 250

But they are still the Best you can buy ..

honestly .. they straighten the curlyest hair ina stroke .. the are brilliant .. everyone wants some .. x

CHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... they are THE best straightner in the world whenever i go to the salon they use chi and trust me i pay for it. a chi is about $200

Hiya. You should have sent the GHD's back to the company, will a letter saying what happened etc (recorded deliv) They would have most definately replaced them.

Well the GHDs and CHI are the most popular one's but that dosn't mean they are the best. I also have curly and I've had the Sedu for a long time and it's great. I'm pretty sure most people will tell you GHDs and CHI are the best but they are not. Go to the website listed under source. That is the Sedu. I have REALLY curly hair and found that T3 straighteners are really good because they also dont dry out your hair. I think they are about the same price as GHD's.

Absolutely GHDs. I have the most unruly hair going and it it makes it dead straight. I shall not ever go with any other brand. So you go out there and buy yourself another.
