I used to have naturally curly hair but had the chi permanent straightener put on, plus it's fi

Now when I wear it pulled back, if I take it down, there is a huge crease all the way around my head and I have to wet it and restyle it. Is this common with straight hair and I'm just not used to it since I used to have curly hair, or is it because I had a straightener put on?

you will find this a lot. I always used to let my hair go straight. It took brushing consistently and care to make it straight but I liked it. Eventually I ot sick and tired o never or always being able to put it up. If I did it had to stay up. When I stopped straightening it, I realised that once curly, it would never kink etc. So yh in answer to ur q, you will get kinks from straightened hair because there are no curls to cover it up!!!

I also have natural curly hair and just straighten mine with an iron. Yes it is normal to have a crease. I do even for the few minutes I put part of my hair up to straighten the under layers.

If you have naturally curly hair, you get a dent from any type of barette or ponytail holder. You may have noticed it from before you straightened it, and it's not going to change now.
