Yea, i put this hair oil and serum. I don't say you have to, I just use it for protection from damage. but otherwise, not really.

I apply a small amount of glossing spray in my hands, rub it together, and rub it on the ends of my hair, and then straighten it. By they way, that is one freaky looking avatar!

If you use GHD's you shouldn't really need to put anything on your hair, although hairdressers will tell you differently..they like to sell products! Its only if you use irons with metal plates that your hair will get damaged...Hope that helps.

I just put a moisturizing "creme" in my damp hair after showering. I find applying thermal sprays makes my hair crunchy when it dries and makes the damage even greater, but thats just me lol.

I use GHD's and I use a heat protection spray on my hair first it also gives a slicker finish. I have always been told by all hairdressers if you are using hair straighteners protect your hair with a heat barrier as the heat is cooking your hair. Best to be safe than sorry with lots of split frazzled hairs.

any kind of flat iron protection spray, maybe herbal essence, they have some. I dont know if you have sally beauty supply store near you, but i get mine there its called 'beyond the zone pro formula'. it helps shield hair from heat damage. its pretty good. i wouldnt straighten your hair without protection cause of the damage, and it might smell funny.

Yes you have to put some sort of cream in your hair if you're going to straighten it because so much heat can damage it. I use treseme heat protecting cream and sunsilk straightening cream. even if i am not gonna straighten my hair which i do almost daily i still put those creams in my hair every day and it make my hair so soft its incredible. also there's this really good product can't remember the name but its in an orange bottle and there's a cream and spray for it. That was the absolute best against the heat. You can go to sally's beauty supply or just a hair cutting place that sells those things and you'll atomatically know what i'm talking about. Its not expensive either. I would really recommend those products.

I don't put anything before I straighten except for A LOT of conditioner at the end because this keeps them moisturised even when strong heat is being applied to them.

I also suggest using DABUR AMLA oil..its an Indian oil and can be bought at most Asian stores...it doesn't smell too good but you put it into your hair 3 times a week and you just feel like you hair is getting stronger and thicker BUT it wont get rid of split ends..you should get your hair trimmed and start using it.

It takes time but you will see a result within a month.

Last thing I suggest is purchasing PERFECTIL skin, hair and nail vitamins...they are good also for keeping everything really healthy from the inside. They were voted best beauty product.

Anyway just type "Dabur Amla Hair" on the Internet and you will see more about this product. I do suggest you get an Amla shampoo because you need something strong to wash the oil off.

I use tresemme heat defence styling spray... it seems to work! as im always told that i have really nice healthy hair... but i think the best answer is not to straighten your hair too much...once or twice a week! or else your hair will turn to straw!

as a hairdresser i would say yes always use protection spray b4 u use straighteners othawise ur hair will become very brittle un snap, u can find such products in boots no problems, any is betta than nowt.
