Hair straighteners that keep hair straight all day?

Hi Im thinking of buying some new straighteners but i want them to keep my hair straight all day long. My friends have GHDs and they sta straight all day but theyre really xpensive!! I heard about GHS and thyre cheaper! Does anyone have them and are they any good? Any other ideas on straighteners or hair products would be really useful! Thanks x

I wouldn't recommend GHDs as i have had them twice and they may keep ya hair straight all day but both of mine broke- the first pair's wire started to fall out so i used insulating tape to keep it attached and then one day sparks came out of it, and the second pair started switching off by themselves! I've never heard of GHS but they may be good. I would recommend Babyliss Pro 230, i bought them about a month ago and i think they are fab! They are just like GHDs except they're cheaper (usually around 鎷?0/鎷?0) and hopefully safer!! They go up to 230 degrees but there is a temperature dial so you can change the temperature. I would also recommend a hair product called 'Schwarzkopf OSIS Flatliner Flat Iron Hair Serum' which helps to smooth and reduce frizz (I buy it from my hair salon). I use it every day and it does work!

p.s. if you decide you want to buy some Babyliss Pro 230 straighteners then I'd suggest buying them from Argos because they have been reduced from 鎷?9.99 to 鎷?9.99!

try using aveda hang straight, it about 鎷?4 a bottle and you put it in after youve washed your hair. my sister wanted it for xmas, and she may be lying cos it cost so much but it works great.

you could also get your hair chemically straightened at a hair place.

I have a pair of Babyliss ones and they are fantastic, I only have to straighten it every other day, and then it is just to tidy up wild ends. And I have to say that I have very strong wavy hair as a rule.

I'm going to suggest a Solia straightener.

I have tried babyliss, chi, and some other brand I forget.

However, my solia has been the best! and not just because it's mine! lol.

I live in florida so you'd think as soon as I walk outside my hair would turn into a poof but it doesnt! It stays smooth and shiny all day and all night!!

I don't have to use a protector because the iron is soo great. it hasn't damaged my hair yet and I got it back in May.

Unfortunately, GHDs are pricey... but they are the best..

You could look on ebay for some...

Even GHDs don't necessarily keep your hair straight ALL day, it depends on the conditions... i.e, if it's humid or rainy, your hair will go wavy again (well, mine does!)

If you go for some cheaper straighteners, you might just have to keep going over and over the same section of hair to get a good effect.

My sister has got really thick hard to straighten hair, so i bought her some 'Nicky Clark kinder to hair' straighteners, they were half price in argos, about 25-30 pounds, there much hotter than ghd's and better in my opinion, GHD's only heat to 210c and these ones are 230c. Just look at the temps before you buy them

i think u should use a hot comb it will keep your hair straight for at least two day depending on how much hair u have.

I just bought a Remmington Tourmaline. Suprisingly it was only $40! I bought it at Ulta. Regular Remmingtons are also very good. I decided to buy a Tourmaline becuase it had more things that applied to me. Tourmaline just means that there are little crystals inside it to inhance the performance. Mine is a black outside with pink plates. Oh! I also reccommend a Ceramic. Those work best!.....but make sure it is a real ceramic, not the fakies!

i have a flat iron that goes about 200 degrees higher than straighteners. Its works all day, just make sure you get some burn protectent spray so it doesn't burn your hair

Even though GHD's are expensive, it's worth it. Your hair stays in place, and it does no damage because it has special plates on them. Try not to get them form ebay try to buy new, it works for hair trust me.

I got fabby straighteners for Christmas - called FHI Heat. They heat to 232 degrees and are amazing! I believe they are also cheaper than GHD's. I can thoroughly recomment them.

i use wet2straight by remington, the wide plate ones. they are really good although i do not usually use them on wet hair. they keeep my hair straight all day and are very reliable! i dont think they are very expensive anymore coz they have been out for ages lol
