HELP!! my hair needs to stay straight (from straightener) but i go swimming next week!?

so i go swimming next week (Monday) for FOUR WEEKS

every morning i straighten my hair before i go to school (i know it's bad :[)

and i have p.e. first period

we have to have a swim cap and i think the one i am going to buy at school are rubber or latex?

if i wear my cap will be hair still be straight? :[

how do i keep all the water out?

any tips to keep it straight?

i might have like only a minute to touch up after but not much at all..

and we shower after for a second

i will be uncomfortable at school with real wavy hair :\

will be hair be safe from the chlorine too?

swim caps keep most of the water out but not all.

some of your hair on the very bottom/back of your head will get a little wet but not alot.

whatever you do, dont straighten your hair if its wet/damp.

it will really really really ruin your hair.

I good thing to do is to warp your hair in a silk scarf and to put the swimming cap over nice and secured so that no water gets in.And that should help a lot more.And if u dont own a silk srcaf use a stockin cap instead.

I hate swimming at school, cuz they only give you 10 minutes to shower, shampoo, condition, hairspray, comb, style, dry, dress, and makeup! It's retarded....

well, yeah, if you put your hair in the swim cap, it will remain dry. if you know how to wear those caps correctly, they will not let ANY water in, none at all. yeah, it also stops all the chlorine from getting in.

if you're really desparate, you could also get one of those tiny little handheld straighteners that you dont need to plug in. they require batteries, you could even touch up on the way to your next class! i saw them at claire's and target and walmart and all drugstores

use 2 swimming caps =) lol no jokee. thats what my friend did she used one that was kinda tight for the 1st layer then a second one which was fitted nicely, and her hair didnt get wet at all.

Go to the store, get a perm, comb it in your hair the amount of time it says to leave the perm on. That should straighten your hair permanently.

Get a straightening shampoo/conditioner, that should work well....cause when u shower u wash your hair so it kinda all works out......if you dont wanto do that, you can always chemically straighten it....it would be alot less work....and you shouldnt worry about wave, itwould be really straight for a long time(kinda like a perm only straight..lol)...goodluck!! have fun swimming too!!
